Refund policy concerning hotel reservation and ticket purchase for Gdakon 2026 convention

1. Gdakon is a private event, and the Organizer does not offer refunds for hotel reservations or ticket purchases for Gdakon 2026.

2. The organizer reserves the right to issue a refund for the ticket purchase by a participant in the following case:

a. If legal regulations related to the SARS-CoV-3 epidemics are announced in the territory of the Republic of Poland, introducing restrictions that make it impossible for the Organizer to hold the event as planned or its cancellation.

3. In justified cases, the ticket and hotel reservation may be transferred to the next edition of the event - in such cases, the participant is required to cover any differences in the hotel reservation price. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse the transfer of the ticket and hotel reservation without providing a reason.

4. With the Organizer’s consent, the ticket and hotel reservation may be transferred to another person. However, that person must have an account on the site www.gdakon.pl.

5. Requests referred in points 3 and 4 – concerning the transfer of a ticket and hotel reservation, including transfer to another person – must be submitted to the Organizer no later than three weeks before the starting date of the convention.

6. The Organizer is not a party to any transaction involving the resale of a ticket by a participant to another person and therefore bears no responsibility for any claims made by the new participants, including, but not limited to, those concerning additional fees.

7. Any refunds for ordered services resulting from accepted complains will be issued:

a. via TPAY refund system, if the payment was made through the online payment gateway
b. To the indicated bank account, if the payment was made by a bank transfer.

8. All transactions between participants and the Organizer are carried out in PLN (Polish Zloty).

9. The Organizer is responsible for the event they’re hosting, including its execution and overall course.

10. In matters not covered by this policy, the regulations of Polish Law will apply, including the Civil Code.
