Privacy policy 

 

1. Providing your personal data is voluntary, but necessary to purchase tickets and participate in a cultural event, in accordance with the Act of 20 March 2009 on the Safety of Mass Events (Ustawa z dnia 20 marca 2009 r. o bezpieczeństwie imprez masowych, Dz.U. z 2023 r., poz. 616).

2. Participants’ personal data will be processed solely for the purpose of fulfilling the ticket sales and complying with the provisions of the Act of 20 March 2009 on the Safety of Mass Events (Ustawa z dnia 20 marca 2009 r. o bezpieczeństwie imprez masowych, Dz.U. z 2023 r., poz. 616) as well as the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR), - Article 6(1)(b), (c) and (f) (GDPR)

3. Participants’ personal data will be retained until the completion of the ticket sales agreement and the resolution of any potential complaints, for the period necessary to fulfil these purposes and in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 20 March 2009 on the Safety of Mass Events (Ustawa z dnia 20 marca 2009 r. o bezpieczeństwie imprez masowych, Dz.U. z 2023 r., poz. 616).

5. Participants’ data will be shared with the RADISSON BLU Hotel in Sopot, managed by Hossa.biz Sp. z o.o., based in ul. Cypriana Kamila Norwida 1, 80-280 Gdańsk, NIP 586 22 06 966.

6. Participants’ data referred to in point 5 will be processed for the purpose of managing Gdakon convention attendees and their potential hotel reservations.

7. Each participant has the right to withdraw their consent for personal data processing and to request the removal of their data from the system by cancelling their participation in the convention.

8. Participants’ data will not be shared with entities located outside the territory of Poland or the European Union.

9. The data will be retained until one month after the end of the convention (i.e., on 3 April 2026).

10. Participants’ data may be processed for a longer period if they violate the convention rules and/or are banned from attending future editions of the event.
