Important info

Some things at Gdakon may differ slightly from what you know from other furry conventions. We are listing them here to avoid any confusion or misinformation.

Rules regarding booking of the hotel rooms

Once your user account is registered and the confee is paid, you will be able to book your hotel room through the website.

For instant payment posting, a transfer system will be available via Transferuj.pl. If you choose a bank transfer, the ability to reserve a room will depend on when the funds are received.

Please provide your nick and the user ID number (visible in your profile) in the payment title so we can clearly identify your payment.

One bank transfer can cover multiple attendees at once, but please, contact the organizer beforehand.

Registration after arrival at the convention

When you arrive at the convention site while the event is ongoing, you must register on-site. This means your ID details will be compared with the invormations provided in the system.

Additionally, you will be required to fill a form provided by the hotel, regardless of whether you're staying at the hotel or not. That is necessary to be allowed on-site.

During this process, you will receive your badge, any included gifts, and the conbook.

Avatars for badges

The minimal resolution for your avatar is 600x600 pixels. This ensures that the image won't appear blurry. PNG files with alpha channels (transparency) are accepted, but keep in mind that a themed background will be added underneath. 

If you don't submit your image in time, a default avatar will be printed on your badge, so you won't be stuck with a white square on your badge ;)

Organizers may check badges from time to time, since the entire hotel is rented exclusively for the convention. This helps us ensure that no unregistered guests enter the venue.

Extra badges are purely cosmetical, most often used by fursuiters. Every badge provided will come with a lanyard.

Withdrawal from participation

If you are unable to attend, or decide to cancel (though we sincerely hope, that won't happen!), you can to contact the organizers to transfer your registration to another user.
